Everyone will have heard by now about hapless Gillion Gibbons, English school teacher subject to 40 lashes and six months in a Sudanese prison for allowing her second graders to name a teddy bear "Mohammad". Pardoned later, and spent only a week or so in jail before being deported. Even the genocidal junta in Sudan didn't like that kind of publicity.
I however only just heard about the "Qatif Girl". A twenty year old woman sentenced in Saudi Arabia to 90 lashes for being gang-raped. The technical charge was dishonoring Islam by being alone with a man. She must not have had a very good lawyer, since technically she couldn't very well have been alone with just one man if she was gang raped. That just doesn't make any sense. In fact, her lawyer must really have sucked: when the woman appealed, she got a hundred ten additional lashes added to her sentence, and another six months of jail time. Why so lenient?
The brazen slut should have kept her yap shut. You can just tell so much about the whore from her photo.
